I am a botanical artist, exhibiting nationally and locally in and around Somerset. I choose subjects which are sometimes unusual, rare or wild plants, and often paint the insects found on them. My paintings are brought to life with watercolours, often with black backgrounds, and with an emphasis on light and dark to give a 3-D effect.
